Blue Inspired Christening

This blue inspired christening in Skiathos revealed the restless traveler in me!! After you see the entire baptism's album you will agree that blue is really the top choice for a boy's christening. All my friends know how much I love green & blue hues, especially in event designing. Truth be told, all event planners have a soft spot for certain colors!

The whimsical island of Skiathos hosted this elegant baptism. The christening took place in the picturesque church of Agia Paraskevi. It's a petite stone church surrounded by a beautiful garden. Every year, on the name day of St. Paraskevi (July 27), a big celebration is held in the churchyard, with dances, delicious food and local wine. We designed the christening in vivid blue hues and created many areas for activities around the churchyard.

Navy Candy Bar

The candy bar had a strong navy look but with modern styling details. Having a fresh lemonade is a must in a summer event. The flowers by @pavlos_the_flower_workshop looked as they popped up straight out from a fairytale.  All the baptism favors were carefully designed by @lovingdecoration.

Designing a christening on an island has a lot of challenges, such as finding the best local vendors or even carrying the entire styling theme from our headquarters in Athens.  Our experienced team can cope with all the challenges! We combined professional services from a vast variety of vendors and the result was spectacular!The parents wanted to have the christening party near the seacoast so we designed the reception and dinner area literally on the sand. Guests could actually feel the sea breeze as it was only a couple of meters away. That's the beauty of family events in Greece!
