It would be difficult to find a more beautiful location for a wedding than one of Greece's numerous stunning islands. The Greek Island Hydra is frequently chosen as a destination wedding in Greece. The royal blue of the ocean and the beautiful vessels in the harbor makes an indescribable view. Historic houses on Hydra Island are easily recognizable by their bright blue front doors and windows and tiled roofs. These residences are spread out across two rocky hills.

Planning a Destination Wedding in Hydra

The wedding table was in the form of a Greek capital letter "Π", and it was in a shade of white. This allowed it to blend in seamlessly with the ocean, which it oversaw. It is impossible to find another landscape that even comes close to matching the beauty of the sea horizon. The white roses and white hydrangeas that were on the table, along with the blue flowers and baby's breath, created a wonderful cohesive look with the rest of the design.

We had set the menu and napkins with the wedding guests' names on them so that they would know where they were sitting. The porcelain plates had a design that resembled a shell, and they were white with gold accent. Golden in appearance, the tableware sparkled. The place settings were accompanied by crystal glasses that were shiny and in the shape of bollards. Gold detailing was found all around the circumference of the glasses.

Wedding Moments to Cherish

The couple's elegant white box wedding favors were personalized with their names, the venue, and the big day. Traditional Greek and Hydran sweets were also featured. There were glass crystal jars of olives, olive oil, ouzo, mastic, pistachios, and honey in the box. Everything you might want from Greece's traditional cuisine.

Some of the Little Details

On the wedding refreshment stand, which was equally decked out with white hydrangeas and rose gold shades, big crystal chandeliers were suspended from the ceiling. Right beneath it was the candy bar, on which the couple's favorite guests were invited to jot down their well-wishes in a notebook that was perched atop the cake, snacks, and confections that were placed there. The cake had three layers of white icing, and it was decorated with actual white roses and gold outlining.

The entire destination wedding in Hydra island scene appeared to be something that could have been a dream.
